Financial literacy is often introduced too late in development, and traditional educational materials can be difficult for younger audiences to understand and stay engaged with. Inadequate resources can lead to confusion surrounding financial concepts later in life. Early education encourages financial confidence and helps build stronger and more educated habits in the future.
Our AI Youth-Focused Financial Literacy Voice Chat provides an engaging way to educate young users on important financial topics. The software features an AI voice chat interface alongside interactive games that teach a variety of financial concepts.
Through our tablet-based kiosk, users converse with Fran, MSUFCU’s virtual chatbot persona. Users interact with Fran through voice chat, with additional touch and text options for accessibility. The tablet also features games that provide a fun learning opportunity for younger users. Game navigation is primarily voice-based, with optional tappable buttons and icons for ease of use.
Through these features, users can build their financial literacy, have fun while learning, and ask questions about financial topics they may not yet understand. AI Youth-Focused Financial Literacy Voice Chat helps educate young minds on responsible spending.
Our system uses a front end created with React to house our Unity-developed games while utilizing open-source software such as TEN Framework to manage speech-to-text and text-to-speech programs on the back end.
