Henry Ford Health (HFH) was founded in 1915, and is Michigan’s second-largest healthcare system, providing innovation and research advancements to a variety of health use cases. Henry Ford Innovations is an HFH division that develops and commercializes new healthcare technology.
HFH manages over 500 facilities across Michigan. Information about these facilities is scattered across different sources. This makes it difficult and time-consuming to collate for aggregate analysis on resources such as capacity, ongoing projects, and more.
Our Facilities Intelligence Dashboard (FID) compiles this scattered information into a clean and intuitive web application that serves as a single, reliable source of information for employees.
The application shows an interactive map of HFH facilities, with facility cards to display facility information such as its address, key resource information, and a link to its full profile. The facility profile shows all the projects undertaken by this facility, floor plans, resource assessments, photos, and much more.
The information is presented in a sleek and organized manner, so employees can find their desired information easily and compare HFH facilities side by side.
An administrator port enables operators to keep everything on the FID up to date by uploading new spreadsheets and images into a folder system that automatically organizes and distributes new data to the correct facility.
The FID provides HFH employees with efficient tools to analyze HFH resources and provides a single source of information for facility information and resources.
Our website is built using Vue.js, styled with Tailwind CSS for the front end. Our back end uses TypeScript and Node.js in combination with Prisma to connect to a secure PostgreSQL database, with Microsoft Azure for data management and hosting.
